academic highlights

In my 2nd field placement, I made human body parts with the basic body parts names highlighted for the kids. I choose this to highlight because this activity I planned was the most appreciate (out of 9) activity by my field professor. I made this on the piece of the card box and print out the pictures. When I was pasting the picture with the tape, I ran out of gum tape and accidentally created the columns. Then my creativity blinks my mind. I used those columns for the kids to draw on the back of the paper on printed lines. I ended up creating 9ine columns for the kids to draw. This activity for the kids to learn the human body parts names include singing, dancing and drawing.

EVALUATION

By the time of my first placement in YMCA Child Care Center, I get to learn that how to observe the environment better. My field educator Miss, Glory, told me 'Always that corner from where you can have all view of the room. I practise this thing a lot throughout the time of 4 months in the centres. Whenever I choose to plan singing or reading stories for the children before sleep time, I always placed myself from where I can have the better place for all. I choose this thing to share because it reflects my strategy to support a child's well-being. 

WEBINAR

During my 2nd virtual placement, we attend a lot of webinars. The most impacted webinar I attend on children's mental health. I Choose this highlight because by this webinar I get to learn various things that 'how to deal with and support children when having difficulties. Mental health crises are one of the underlying or (difficult to point out) states of humans. Well, this webinar was full of resources to support children's mental health and I did a summary on this webinar. Most impacted line ' The way we talk to our children becomes their inner voice'
